SnoozeShade Plus Extra is a super-versatile sun and sleep shade for pushchairs. Once your little one is in the stroller seat you can use it in snooze mode for naps, or in shade mode when they're awake and want to see out. Made from better-than-breathable air-permeable mesh fabric that lets air flow freely, it safely blocks up to 99% of UV rays (UPF50+) and shuts out light to help your little one’s nap routine stay on track wherever you are.
SnoozeShade for Travel Cots is designed to help your baby or toddler sleep soundly in their travel cot. It's ideal for room-sharing on holiday or any time you need your child to sleep in their travel cot but can’t (or don’t want to) blackout the windows.
It's compatible with all rectangular travel cots up to 106cm long and 75cm wide. It also fits most triangular-style travel cribs (which tend to be longer but it still fits as they are narrower). Click here to see some of the ones we have tested it on.

How does SnoozeShade work? A SnoozeShade will transform your pram, pushchair or travel cot into a comfortingly dark space that encourages sleep by boosting melatonin (the sleepy hormone). When your child naturally stirs at the end of their sleep cycle, our unique fabric prevents them from latching on to visual stimuli that may stop them getting the deeper, longer sleep they need.
How does SnoozeShade Plus Extra provide sun protection? Our innovative fabric safely blocks UV rays and creates shade for your child while allowing air to flow freely.
When in snooze mode, SnoozeShade Plus Extra blocks 99% of UVA and UVB rays (UPF 50+). When in shade mode, it blocks 80% of UV through the front window and continues to block 99% of UV overhead and at the back and sides. The fabric also shields your little one from wind, light rain and pesky bugs.
Will they help my baby sleep? SnoozeShades are recommended by baby-sleep experts worldwide, because they can help you establish or maintain a nap routine without being stuck at home. They work like portable blackout blinds, blocking out 94% of light and blurring distractions to help your child switch off and go to sleep in distracting, unfamiliar or bright surroundings.
What age is this bundle suitable for? We recommend SnoozeShade Plus Extra for babies and toddlers who are seated in the stroller seat, because it’s proportioned to fit around a child who is sitting up and wanting to see out. We say from around 6-9 months but it's just a guide - the most important thing is baby's seating position. SnoozeShade for Travel Cots can be used from birth until your child outgrows their travel cot.
Can I machine wash my SnoozeShade? Of course – they were invented by a mum! All SnoozeShade products are machine washable at 30° and can be tumble dried on low heat.

Will SnoozeShade for Travel Cots fit my travel cot? It's designed to fit all standard rectangular travel cots as well as the triangular-style ones from BabyBjorn, Nuna Sena, Guava Lotus, Phil & Teds and many more. The assembled size of your cot is the important bit! If it measures up to 106cm in length and up to 75cm in width, SnoozeShade for Travel Cots will fit. If your travel cot is longer than 119cm then you need SnoozeShade for Cots.
